Role Description This is a full-time, HVAC-R Service Technician role located just outside of Maryville, TN and services Blount, Monroe and Loudon Counties. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot issues in heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems, perform routine and preventive maintenance, replace existing units and ductwork, and complete repairs in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Daily responsibilities include responding to service calls, inspecting equipment, documenting work performed, and communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommended solutions. The role also involves maintaining tools and company vehicles in good condition, following regulatory requirements, and collaborating with the service team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC-R systems, including identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance tasks for heating, cooling, refrigeration and hot-side kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of EPA regulations and possession of applicable EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with clients.
• Clearly document repairs in app based field management system, including pictures.
• 5+ years experience with technical training or certification in HVAC-R or a closely related field, apprenticeship or equivalent experience is required.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools, read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, and follow company procedures. Must have own hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to the Maryville, TN work site, and ability to meet physical demands of the role (e.g., lifting, climbing, working in varied environments).
• Ability to work independently. Service vehicle, cell phone and other tech will be provided.

Pay

• $25-35/hr DOE
